ISSUE:
Under Manage Resources > Search a Employee>under sale person tab > LOV for referense data set is null
Resolution
1. Security Console -> Roles -> Search for Accounts Receivables Manager & copy role
2. Edit -> click on Add Function Security Policy-> Manage Trading Community Resource Sales Representative Information -
3. Click on Create Data Security Policy (the Start date need to be past date)
Policy name: Grant on SetId for Resources
Data Resource: SetID Set
Privilege: Manage Trading Community Salesperson Setup; View Trading Community Salesperson Setup;
Condition: All values
4. Add the Users you need to this new role -> Next -> Submit and Close
5. Administration - > Role status -> appear as Complete
6. search for the user and double check to make sure it has been assigned with the new role
7. Now login with the user that has been assigned with the new role -> Setup and Maintenance -> Manage Resources
8. Organizations Tab (enter Role = Salesperson and the Organization as per your requirements)
9. Roles Tab (assign the Salesperson Role)
10. Salesperson Tab -> expand the Set LOV -> the data sets will show up.
11. Save.
Add access to the reference data set as > Enterprise set.
Perquisites :
create an organization
Assign Resource to the organization
For employee assign the sale person / sale Manager role
Assign Data access to use for the reference data set : Enterprise
* Make sure under the BU functions access set the sale person reference set are same a Enterprise set.
Task: Manage Business Unit Set Assignment
